Virus and SPAM filtering test

Use this test to find out if your mail filtering software is properly filtering virus and spam emails. Please enter your name and the email address where you want to send the test emails:

Information about the tests:

Virus Test: This will send you an email with an attachment containing the Eicar test virus (not a real virus). Eicar was developed by the European Institute for Computer Anti-Virus Research as a safe and easy way to test if your anti-virus software is working. If the attached file 'eicar.com' is not detected and removed by your anti-virus scanner, it may not be working properly.
Spam Test: This will send you an email containing the GTUBE (Generic Test for Unsolicited Bulk Email) test string. If your spam filter supports it, the GTUBE provides a test by which you can verify that the filter is installed correctly and is detecting incoming spam. If this email is not identified as spam by your spam filtering software it might not be working properly.
